Child Safety Standards

Our standards

We strictly prohibit, and act on, all of the following:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that sexualizes a minor, including real, drawn, AI-generated, or computer-generated depictions.
• Grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to contact, lure, or exploit a minor.
• Sexualization of a minor in profiles, display names, avatars, clips, comments, or messages.
• Trafficking, endangerment, or any other content or behavior that harms a child.

How we prevent and act on CSAE

• Age gating. Users under 13 are not permitted. We collect date of birth at sign-up and block under-13 accounts; teen (13–17) accounts have restricted interaction defaults.
• Content filtering. User text (comments, messages, profiles) passes an automated filter before it is published.
• In-app reporting. Every piece of user-generated content and every account carries an in-app report control with a dedicated “Child safety” reason, so users can flag CSAE without leaving the app.
• Moderation. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team; CSAE reports are escalated immediately and the offending content is removed and the account suspended.
• Blocking. Users can block any other user.

Reporting to authorities

When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we remove it, preserve the relevant data as required by law, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or other appropriate authorities in the relevant jurisdiction. We comply with applicable child-safety laws, including reporting and record-keeping obligations.

Inside the app, tap the report (flag) control on any clip, comment, profile, repost, or message and choose “Child safety”. You can also contact our child-safety team directly:
